Fishing in the Last Frontier!

Great news guys! I have been given the opportunity to work in Papua New Guinea as a Marketing Manager for a fishing charter operation there. I don't want to jinx this since my work permit is still currently under review. Hopefully everything goes well and I will be able to fish in one of the most desired places in recent years!

Some of the things I am looking forward to are Papuan Black Bass and the giant Dogtooth Tuna available in the pristine waters of PNG. My employer advised me to leave my light gear behind since they won't be of any use to me during my stay there, which had me a bit worried since I only have light gear for Largemouth Bass for casting purposes and a Medium Heavy outfit for saltwater jigging; all underpowered for the tasks of fishing in PNG.

Although the work permit delay is making me worried, praying every night helps me keep my cool. I really wish things go well so I can share my adventures while working there.

Wish me luck!!!
